"Best Dentist I Have Ever Been To"
I had a really good experience getting a cap at Dr Moffit's office. I was surprised that I didn't need to have dental impressions made. 3 D images were taken and a machine used these images to create a crown. I was happy that it was done all in one visit and the cap looks exactly my old tooth. What a difference between this procedure compared to the other caps I had.
Dr Wilkhu is the best Dentist I have ever been to. From the office staff to the hygenists to the Dentist and his assistants they are all top notch. I went to Dr Wilkhu after having a bad experience with another dentist. Dr Wilkhu had done a great job for my mother and his reviews were great so I thought I would give him a try. I have been going to him for about three years now.

CEREC Same-Day Crowns
If your damaged tooth is located in a discreet area of the mouth or budget is a concern, our dentists can use CEREC to create stunning, highly durable same-day crowns. CEREC allows us to create dental crowns using computer-aided design and manufacturing. The machine is equipped with a milling unit that directly translates the digital design into a new custom crown out of a single block of porcelain. In most cases, your CEREC crown can be ready for placement on the same day as your initial appointment, avoiding the need for a temporary crown.
Lab-Crafted Restorations
This option is ideal for crowns in visible areas of the mouth. Our decade-long relationship with a trusted local lab is one of the factors that our patients appreciate the most when undergoing restorative treatment. The lab technicians cater to each and every individual. They even visit our office for an in-person shade match to ensure your restorations closely mirror the texture and color of your surrounding teeth. Depending on your budget and other factors, we can create your crowns from a variety of materials including porcelain, IPS e.max, or zirconia.
Crowns and Dental Implants
Why Replace Missing Teeth?
Missing teeth result in additional dental problems such as shifting teeth, jaw misalignment, jawbone atrophy, and facial collapse. For most patients, Dr. Wilkhu can place and restore dental implants at our Merritt Island, FL, dentistry office–without referring you to an outside specialist for dental care.
Dental Implant Recovery
If you have a missing tooth, you will undergo dental implant surgery approximately four to six months prior to receiving your permanent crown. Once the site is fully healed, you will return to our office to have your permanent crown or dental bridge attached to your implant.
