Our Teeth Whitening Options Are Designed To Suit Your Busy Schedule

Patient undergoing Philips Zoom!® in-office whitening treatment.
For most patients, an in-office whitening treatment session will last about 45 minutes.

A whiter, brighter smile is a desirable feature for most patients. Dr. Chan Wilkhu and Dr. Mark Moffitt understand that you have a busy schedule, and can provide both take-home whitening kits and in-office teeth whitening treatments at their office in Merritt Island, FL. While store-bought whitening treatments are one-size-fits-all, our treatments are customized to your unique smile for dazzling and immediate results.

Are You a Good Candidate for Whitening?

There are various factors that can affect the color and overall appearance of your smile, including:

  • Genetic predisposition
  • Eating color-rich foods or drinks
  • Certain medications
  • Smoking and other lifestyle factors

If you are concerned about the shade of your smile and wish you could have brighter and whiter looking teeth, whitening may be a good option for you. Unlike cosmetic procedures such as porcelain veneers and dental bonding, teeth whitening can only transform the color of your smile. During your consultation, Dr. Wilkhu or Dr. Moffitt will review your concerns with you and help determine if teeth whitening alone is the best cosmetic dentistry treatment.

Why Choose In-office Treatment?

If you have an important upcoming event, this treatment may be a better option than our take-home whitening kits. For our in-office whitening cases, we use Philips Zoom!® to provide you with highly effective, immediate results. For most patients, an in-office whitening treatment will last about 45 minutes and can help you brighten your smile by up to eight shades in just one session. If you have sensitive teeth, in-office treatment may also be a good option since we can monitor your procedure and make adjustments based on your level of sensitivity.

Teeth Whitening on Your Schedule

We offer two options for patients who prefer to achieve gradual results with take-home whitening kits. If you prefer to wear your whitening trays for small increments of time, we may recommend Zoom!® DayWhite. These trays are worn 15 minutes per day two times a day, and most patients are able to achieve their desired results within two weeks.

With our professional dentists overseeing your treatment, you can enjoy predictable, transformative results.

Alternatively, patients who prefer to wear their trays for longer periods of time can opt for Zoom!® NiteWhite treatment. These trays are worn for two to four hours each night and can help you reach your desired shade in about two weeks. Both options include custom whitening trays and whitening solution for hassle-free application.

Professional vs. Over-the-Counter

Although whitening strips and rinses are widely available, they cannot compare with the speed, quality, and results of professional teeth whitening treatment. Whether you choose our in-office or take-home option, your treatment is completely tailored to your needs. Custom whitening trays ensure comprehensive coverage, while strips can result in uneven whitening and poor allergic reactions if used incorrectly. With our professional dentists overseeing your treatment, you can enjoy predictable, transformative results.
